Stream Def Dee’s ’33 And A Third’ Featuring Oddisee, Black Milk and More

def-dee-33-and-a-thirdFirst and foremost, I want to give a shout-out to reader Travis Maeda for reminding us to check out this new project from Seattle’s Def Dee. 33 And A Third finds the Northwestern artist flexing more than just his talents as a producer. After signing to Mello Music Group, he got access to their vaults and began piecing together remixes using verses from years back and new verses.

For example, One Be Lo’s raps on “Coke Nda Canine” are totally fresh while Kenn Starr‘s vocals were brushed off for the track. Elsewhere, there are brand-new joints and instrumentals, making this part full-length, part curator compilation. Oh, and did I mention Def Dee’s beats are neck-snapping slappers? They are.

Stream/purchase the album below. Features include Oddisee, John Robinson, yU, Magestik Legend, Boog Brown, and Uptown XO.
