Overly is the long-awaited new album from Minneapolis producer Ackryte, who runs with our friends over at HuhWhat&Where. It contains 18 tracks of obscure sample flips, head-nodding percussion, and everything else you’d want from someone on the HWW roster. According to their Bandcamp, the goal of this release is for it to be that perfect summer soundtrack and, after I few listens, I can concur. These beats are laid-back, ice cubes-melting-in-your-lemonade goodness.
