Stik Figa & D/WILL – “Sheep Skin”

Have you ever listened to Kanye West’s “Good Morning” and thought to yourself: “Shit, someone should sample Kanye’s grunt!” Well, producer D/WILL obviously thought so as he’s laced the beat for “Sheep Skin” with a gorgeous lil’ keys line and Yeezy’s “ugh….yeah.” I know, it reads like it shouldn’t work, but it does. Like, really well, and, of course, Stik Figa complements it perfectly. The track stems from the duo’s forthcoming full-length album, Crown & Coke, which drops Aug. 16. If you, too, played the hell out of their previous effort, the #HappyHour EP, then you, too, probably can’t wait for the album.
