In the past, we have heard from skilled U.K. producer Sourface thanks to his Nas vs. 9th Wonder project and his most recent (and rad) free album, Social Therapy Vol. 2, which featured original instrumentals and unofficial remixes of cats like AZ. In other words, we have heard some great beats, but we’ve never heard him work with, you know, an actual MC from the States. That all changed when he shot over “Peddlin’”, a slick collaborative joint with Midwestern spitter Swoots. As if that wasn’t enough to digest, they’ve also received a feature from Rapsody, of Kooley High, who sounds just as good over Sourface’s sample chops as her host.
