You know how “the drop” is one of the biggest things associated with dubstep, brostep, whatever-step? Well, there are drops in plenty of other songs, too, and Soundcloud is here to take away any of the surprise/fear that might come with it. They have unleashed the Dropometer, which finds the particular point in a track and points to it with a friendly “Here’s The Drop” message. Great idea, no?
Here’s how Soundcloud described its innovative new technology:

Using a unique algorithm (patent pending), the Dropometer is designed to help you prepare yourself for the big moment, whether that means getting in the mental space where you can really break it down, or fixing yourself a fortifying snack.
