Los Angeles duo Sound Fx return with another leak from their upcoming (and Potholes sponsored) album, The Sunset LP. And like last week’s “Get By“, it’s the earnest lyricism that makes “Stadium Music” shine. OK, it’s also driven by the sweeping production, which is laden with swashes of synthesizers and crisp drums. But the message of just doing what you do for the love of it all really resonates. Have we heard other rappers say that before? Sure. But has it worked so effectively? Not really.
