“Nothing to Me” is the great new single from Chicago-based musician Soleman, who runs with cats like Mister Lies and Different Sleep as part of the Svengali collective. And like his cohorts, Soleman has a knack for making late night music with a pulse and some deep soul. “Nothing to Me” is driven by bright piano strokes, erratic percussion, and some choice vocals, the last of which breathe through in the form of a Nelly Furtado sample.
