Sole And The Skyrider Band – “Bad Captain Swag” F. Lil B & Pictureplane

One of the more, err, bizarre songs I have been anticipating since early April is finally here. Yes, when Sole broke the news that he and the Skyrider Band were collaborating with Lil B on a track off their forthcoming Hello Cruel World, I just had to hear what it would sound like. And, surprise, surprise, it sounds pretty fucking good. The Based God sounds right at home over the Skyrider Band’s hazy production on “Bad Captain Swag”, as does guest vocalist Pictureplane. Actually, his work on the chorus might be the finest moment of the track, though I don’t want to take away from what Sole and Lil B have done here. [via]
