At a time when maximalist music runs so rampant, I personally love happening upon artists taking a much more stripped down and organic approach. Just watch like, one commercial on TV that’s not some whispered indie rock BS and you’ll get my point. That’s where Sm^th comes in. He/she is intentionally keeping his/her identity a mystery and just letting the music, such as this great new EP //worn\\, do all the talking. If you like your instrumental music slightly fuzzy, synth-heavy but not filled with heavy synths, and somewhat majestic, you’re sure to love this. And if you are into comparisons, it’s pretty clear that Shlohmo and Bibio are huge influences for Sm^th, whoever you are.
