There is no doubt teachers make indelible impacts on our lives. “Teachers”, by Toronto-based shy kids, takes a cynical view of the profession (“Why should we concentrate, when we just regurgitate what you think?”), turning out a beautiful and soft sort-of protest song. Lush, hazy and thought-provoking, the track is the closer on the band’s promising debut EP, which appeared last week on Soundcloud.
