California beat scene youngster Shlohmo is continuing to make one hell of a name for himself. At 20 years old, he already has several very nice projects out and his latest, Camping, is a quick, but effective EP that again shows off his progressing skills. One of the instant highlights happens to be his pairing up with another skilled experimental producer, Baths, who tackles Shlohmo’s “Post Atmosphere”. Baths takes the track into separate dimension filled with almost-spooky vibes and trance-ish rhythms. Score another one for Los Angeles, a city that just keeps winning in this ever-expanding subgenre of instrumental hip-hop.
