Shigeto – “Animals Inside Me”

Ghostly International resident Shigeto has revealed “Animals Inside Me”, a previously unreleased joint from 2007. It might be a few years late, but in actuality, it fits right in much of the current electronic scene. The borderline dubstep beat and thick, jittery layers bounce around excitedly as Shigeto’s hazy voice creates yet another stratum, removing the notion that vocals should be clear, front, and center. Artists like Baths have recently made this kind of technique quite popular and well-loved, but rest assured, Shigeto is his own animal.
