Legendary singer-songwriter duo Simon & Garfunkel once noted in a lyric, “Everything looks better in black and white”. Canadian import ShaqIsDope further confirms this belief. Crisp and clear, the imagery compiling Shaq’s newly unveiled visuals for his fantastic single “Living In A Dream” does not push boundaries; nothing here will necessarily amaze you. However, smooth transitions and a snowy, sparse background capture Shaq’s flawless flow and coldhearted confidence well. Quite simply, it’s enjoyable to watch in spite of its desolate simplicity, no doubt an intentional move taken by director Bowen Mei.
