I feel like it has been a while since we posted about Shabazz Palaces, holder of Black Up, one of the best hip-hop albums of 2011 so far. Taking one of the album standouts (like there isn’t a standout on Black Up) “The King’s new clothes were made by his own hands”, Shabazz transforms the recording into a live masterpiece filled with drum taps and synth fusion. While I don’t want to be greedy, I really can’t wait for these guys to put out more music. Can you blame me? Black Up is out now, so support if you haven’t already! [via]
