While our reviewer wasn’t feeling this album at all, I actually thought it was a pretty solid project. With that said, we are going to keep supporting Serengeti’s Family & Friends. The latest leak comes by way of “Tracks”, a dark production that is brought together by a gloomy chorus and candid lyricism. The theme on this track seems pretty representative of the entire album. While it doesn’t fit perfectly with the state of mind I am in right now with all this heat, I expect Serengeti to pop back into my rotation come the winter months. Family & Friends will be available Aug. 2 via Anticon. [via]
