It feels like forever since we previously heard from Detroit rapper SelfSays, who was one of the first rappers I wrote about here at Potholes way back in February 2009. Damn, three years have passed since he dropped his damn-good Something Out of Nothing EP, which he’s giving a lil’ boost here with some justifiably low-budget visuals for “Little Things“. If you haven’t listen to Self’s quirky, wholly personable take on hip-hop yet, let this be your introduction.
