Like other artists of his ilk, SBTRKT likes to drop off new music without more than a link on his Facebook and a brief description. Most of the time, his words on said music are no more than, well, “tales from the studio.” That’s what he wrote to accompany his latest cut, “Terminal”, which sounds kind of like the music you’d hear in the club of a Sega Dreamcast game. That’s not to say it uses chiptune or anything like that. It’s simply that the production is driving and bright with a playful edge. You’ll know what I mean once you listen below.
