Following the performance of his right-hand man, Sampha, with Drake on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, SBTRKT has unveiled some new material of his own in “IMO”. According to his YouTube, the song stems from the sessions for his next album that I’m hoping arrives sometime this fall (or winter, which might suit his material better). It’s also apparently unmixed/unmastered, though it definitely sounds good to my ears. Beyond all that, the track serves as a dedication to the memory of his brother, which makes “IMO” hit a lot harder.
