Sahy Uhns – “Montebello Postpartum” [Video]

Here are Potholes, we like our hip-hop-leaning instrumentals good and weird. While we also fancy some good ol’ boom-bap, we’re pretty much suckers for the oddball stuff that seems to come more and more from the West Coast. The latest example of this comes via L.A. producer Sahy Uhns, who last month released his latest album, An Intolerant Disdain of Underlings. He recently issued the visuals for standout track “Montebello Postpartum”, too, and for all you techies out there, he shot the thing using an iPhone and Sony Digital8 Handycam. He then transferred the video to VHS to get the effects you’ll see once you’re done reading this.
