Hailing from Philadelphia, rapper Ryshon Jones bolsters his increasingly significant position on the radars of rap sites with the release of “Three Kay”. The Thelonious Martin-produced track is deeply layered with whirling organ notes, cymbal crashes and samples. Jones’ delivery toys with the structure of the tempo. At points, he seems to nearly fall off beat before regaining footing thanks to a detectable magnetism. I’m definitely curious to hear more from Ryshon, and it’s always nice to see what Martin’s cooking up.
