We became acquainted with Philly spitter Ryshon Jones last month upon seeing the Donnie Darko-referencing visuals for “40 Pills“. Since then, I’ve been itching to hear more from him, so you can imagine by excitement in seeing that his new mixtape, LifeInReverse, dropped today.
The free 18-track release boasts moody, jazzy production from Thelonious Martin, Talen Ted, and several others. They set the tone for Jones’ contemplative, life-questioning rhymes that only continue to improve with each project he drops. You can stream and download LifeInReverse below.
