CHECK! Good things happen when Rustie and Danny Brown connect. This happened previously on the Detroit rapper’s latest album, Old. With Danny riding shotgun and rapping about drugs (among other things) on “Side B (Dope Song),” the Glaswegian producer laced him with a heavy, shape-shifting instrumental that deserves nothing less than you playing it at full volume whenever it’s on. Now, the two have connected for the flat-out bonkers “Attak,” the latest we’re hearing from Rustie’s upcoming album, Green Language. The tune just premiered on BBC Radio 1 but here’s Rustie with the proper dirty version for everyone to blast for the rest of today.
And because I somehow slept on the album announcement, I’ve shared the artwork and lead single “Raptor” for everyone else who’s a dunce like me. You’ll find them underneath the stream of “Attak,” which may cause you to get into a fist fight/get really drunk if you follow the advice of Brown. Or something. Also, “Raptor” kicks all sorts of buttocks.
