If you’re not a fan of Nas‘ more positive music, I guarantee that you’re going to hate his appearance on this new remix of Rudimental‘s “Free”. The U.K. electronic outfit has the Queensbridge rapper on his “c’est la vie/I am free” tip for the entirety of this track that’s made for dramatic movie and television trailers. It also features Emeli Sande, who earlier this week collaborated with another rapper—she recruited Ab-Soul for her own “My Kind of Love” remix.

this is pretty dope tho, btw.
plenty of people I know love some work from a certain artist, but hate other work from the same artist. you can be a fan of an artist and not love EVERYTHING they do, Nas is a perfect example.
I’m just saying that some people didn’t like his shit with Damian Marley for example. I personally loved it.
“If you’re not a fan of Nas’ more positive music, I guarantee that you’re going to hate his appearance on this…”
WTF does that even mean?! You’re either a fan or not. People that do that whole “I only like [insert artist] when they’re rapping about [insert random topic]” clearly don’t understand the complexities of hip-hop. do better.
