While Asher Roth certainly isn’t the most seductive rapper, he does find a way to make his guest verse work on Ro James’ silky smooth new jam, “Lisa”. With just a touch of synthesizer throughout this track, James is set up to croon like a seasoned ’90s R&B singer. I could definitely see this track sitting alongside TLC and the like, and its nice to see a modern day New York vocalist recreate the sound.
