RJD2 is a bit of a control freak. He is very selective as far as collaborations go, almost always insuring a quality product. One of his longtime partners in crime, Blueprint, has proven himself as a viable MC worthy of riding out even the most intricate of RJD2 productions. If you can recall, they even released two full-length albums under the moniker Soul Position. “The Good Life” serves as a reunion of sorts, pulled together by the good guys at ORGNL.TV. The final product is a celebratory track of sorts, as well as a testament to how far both of these guys have come in their respective solo careers.
