As you may already know, Action Bronson and RiFF RAFF make for a formidable duo. They have collaborated on cuts including “Hot Shots Part Deux,” “Long Pinky,” “Rock Steady,” and, perhaps the greatest one of them all, “Bird on a Wire.” And as of today, we have another tune to add to their growing tag-team list.
It’s the Alchemist-produced “Blue Jays,” a blunted-as-hell track that is just as lazy as it is filled with ridiculous rhymes. To be fair, RiFF sounds all melancholy and somber on the hook, where he croons about his friends fading away, saving for better days, and how he could have played for the Toronto Blue Jays. Bronson sticks to a somewhat-similar theme, referencing retired outfielder Gary Sheffield and bragging about some of his finer goods (a Beamer and loafers in every color imaginable).
You can hear “Blue Jays” below. Could this be off that Galaxy Gladiators project?
