Being a native of New Jersey, it is always nice to see a rising star represent the state with quality music. Which is why I am so exciting about RetcH, who happens to have a mixtape called Polo Sporting Goods coming out very soon. The second taste of the project comes by way of a wonderfully produced soul cut, “Special Jim”. Spitting narrative-focused bars about a kid he once knew named Jim, RetcH is suited perfectly for the pristine production of Thelonious Martin.
