We have heard several reports and sources saying Chris Lighty, founder of Violator, has passed away today. Lighty was known for his management work with the likes of Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip, Missy Elliott, Nas, LL Cool J, and more. The cause of death remains unknown, but we will be sure to keep you updated on that as soon as we can confirm that. Our prayers go out to friends and family of Mr. Lighty.
