Reggie B – “Draconian Reign”

For his latest cut, Reggie B has stepped away from the microphone. And while we already knew he was a producer, we have mostly gotten to know the Midwest native through his smooth, soulful crooning. You know, like on Doin’ Our Thang with Miles Bonny and that killer collabo with Saadiq, Tomorrows Not Promised. For “Draconian Reign”, though, Reggie only has his producer hat on. And that shit stays on tight as he plows through a synth-led, haunting groove through the galaxy. I’m hoping this will end up on a final project somewhere, though that remains to be seen.
