While it is rare to hear Raekwon branch far from his comfort zone, today he teams up with UK producer Redlight for a rather unique cut. With a far more futuristic vibe, Redlight cooks up a beat that feels far more fit for an MC like Danny Brown than Raekwon. But “Get Money” turns out to work perfectly fine, as Rae spits gutter raps over bass-heavy production. Which sets the mood for Redlight’s forthcoming 36 EP, a project that will be dropping very soon.
