Producer/engineer/rapper Raze is prepping the release of his upcoming solo album, Living in Technicolor, and in doing so he sent over its single, “One Hunnid”. While the message on here of remaining authentic and not giving into trends has been done before, Raze delivers it too damn well for me to pass over. It doesn’t hurt that Lou-Tang provides a fantastic, bluesy beat that perfectly complements this MC’s tenacity on the mic. This is certainly a sign of good things to come from Raze and his House of Mutants crew, though I do hope he branches out lyrically on the rest of his sophomore project.
