Ras G is bracing himself for the release of his latest album, Back On The Planet. While many of G’s musical installments have been aesthetically intergalactic, perhaps the title of this new project suggests that the West Coast producer will make a return to his home planet. The latest single “_G Spot Connection” isn’t your typical piece of beat music, though, and it finds Ras continuing to push the envelope when it comes to sample chops and eerie instrumentation.
