Raekwon – “The Heater” F. Kaimbr & Hassaan Mackey

Is it hot in here? Or is it just me? Of course it’s me. But, this new Raekwon track turns up the thermostat, makes the wallpaper peel and it’s featuring a couple of flame emcees. Raekwon might not be your favorite member of the Wu Tang Clan, but he puts the hurt on these bars. Appropriately, he comes together with Kung-fu lover, Kaimbr, who recently dropped an instrumental album that’ll conjure up childhood memories. “Sweep the leg.” The production has Jeopardy-like synths and some real sounding drums, which, is refreshing. Oh, Hassaan Mackey is on this track too. Meaning: Oh, another dope emcee is on this track too. “The Heater” ends abruptly, maybe too abruptly, but it definitely has to find its way in your music queue.
