Raekwon – “Son of Sam”

Raekwon – “Son of Sam”

raekwon-son-of-samWith his F.I.L.A. album on the way, Raekwon decided to give his fans an appetizer of sorts this lovely Friday afternoon. It arrives in the form of “Son of Sam”, a sample-heavy burner driven by a slick break, chunky piano, and Rae’s sharp bars. I know I can’t be the only one wondering if his new album will get here before or after the Wu-Tang Clan’s full-length, A Better Tomorrow, because these guys definitely aren’t going to be happy with any kind of overlap. Listen to “Son of Sam” below.
