It’s with great sadness that we report on the loss of one of hip-hop’s most influential female voices. Ms. Melodie, perhaps best known as rolling with the Boogie Down Productions crew, has passed away from unknown causes. The Brooklyn native (real name: Ramona Parker) was also married to BDP leader KRS-One for some time.
