R.I.P. Micheal Larsen, aka Eyedea

Don’t really know what to say here, but here goes.

The underground hip-hop community has lost a great artist in Micheal Larsen, aka Eyedea. Either on the solo tip, with Face Candy, or most famously with DJ Abilities, Larsen’s knack for twisting words and syllables without losing a concept or theme was unbelievable. When I was slowly but surely hearing better hip-hop in the early 2000s, Eyedea & Abilities were one of my favorite acts. I was taken by the intense scratching, wild delivery, and altogether fantastic music created by the duo.

Rest In Peace Micheal Larsen.
