You’re hit in the head with new rap song after new rap song every day. Most try to get your attention by standing out with their packaging (Having a guest feature from so-and-so, a provocative photoshopped cover, etc.). Others, like R.E.I.D., stand out by just sounding different than Regional Rapper #23 and his new single “I’m Doing Something Or Another (Remix)”.
We first wrote about the Detroit/LA rapper last year, but he’s got a new project in the works with New World Color titled Wish You Were Here. And the first song we’re hearing from it, “Famous”, piques our interest. His flow is a little sing-song-y, the beat is a bit low end-y, and we’ll let you know when the tape drops.
