After an absence of material for almost four months (during which time he had toured the nation with fellow artists Logic and Skizzy Mars), Miami rapper QuESt has hit us with a new visual and piece of news. “NEATO Season”, the name of the track accompanying the dexterous work of director Mike Holland, comes alongside the artist’s announcement of having been signed to Visionary Music Group, an upstart label home to the aforementioned Logic and Jon Bellion. And on his introductory track on the VMG ticket, QuESt finds himself in an exciting role, slinging sharp rhymes over the gloomy Childish Gambino instrumental, “Unnecessary”, all the while adapting his flow to the wavering pace of the production.
