Quantic Y Su Conjunto Los Miticos Del Ritmo – “They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)”

Quantic, aka Will Holland, gets around (no Tupac). If dude’s not diggin’ in the crates in Ethiopia or writing new music with a slew of international artists, he’s DJing parties in L.A. or honing his skills on the accordion. Apparently, he has gotten pretty good with the instrument after three years of practice, which have led to this new EP with the Su Conjunto Los Miticos Del Ritmo band. It features several covers of classic hip-hop tracks, including J Dilla’s “Rico Suave Bossa Nova” and Pete Rock & CL Smooth’s “They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)”, and one original. But it’s also a super-limited, vinyl-only release, so chances are you won’t be able to find it anywhere anytime soon.  I know, it sucks, but hey, at least you can play the hell out of Quantic and his band’s “They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)” cover, right? RIGHT? Right.
