I maintain that Quadron’s self-titled album was one of the better (and absolutely slept-on) albums of 2010. Maybe some folks glossed over it because it dropped earlier in the year. Or perhaps it’s the fact that records like this aren’t resonating quite as strongly right now — see my similar feelings for Pollyn’s 2009 album, This Little Night. All I know is that Quadron is a beautiful piece of work and I’m glad it’s still getting pushed. The latest promotional bit features singer CoCo showing off her immense vocals for a stripped-down version of “Pressure”, which is complemented only by Rebekah Raff’s harp.
