Pusha T – Wrath of Caine [Mixtape]

wrath-of-caineMy anticipation for anything from Pusha T has cooled over the past year or so, but I still haven’t given up on this half of the Clipse. Sure, Fear of God wasn’t spectacular, but he definitely has it in him to do something truly notable on his own. I hope. If not, well, we can still skim through free releases like his latest, Wrath of Caine, with the hopes he might be holding onto his best material for his debut full-length. That’s called My Name Is My Name, though who knows when it will drop.

For now, you can listen to and/or download Wrath of Caine below. A review is on the way.

  1. Initial reaction is its cool. But I think Pusha is setting us up for the album. We all know he can rap and I’m sure he will step it up a couple of notches for My Name Is My Name. Overall 6.5/7 out of 10. Not bad at all just not great.

  2. I liked it actually. A lot better then his last album. some dumb shit and flick with montana is wack but it’s listenable. not sure about longevity of it though..

  3. Just listen to Revolution and skip the rest. Shit is boring. The first half tries too hard to give banger after banger, but it’s just like “this is cool”. Fear of God was much better. and Pusha needs to stop writing girl songs. Every time he’s tried that since Lord Willin has been cringe worthy.
