Pusha T Reveals ‘My Name Is My Name’ Release Date

pusha-t-suitWhen I first heard about Pusha T’s proper debut album, My Name Is My Name, I was skeptical and kind of hated myself for feeling that way. Dude’s dropped some of the finest drug raps of the past 15 years or so and here I am acting like a brat because his EP, Fear of God: Let Us Pray, was underwhelming. And then the Wrath of Caine mixtape dropped and I was even more turned off by King Push.

But when I heard the minimalist, raw-as-hell “Numbers On The Boards“, everything changed. Just a few days later, my feelings on Pusha continued to grow more positive when he listed the guests and producers on My Name Is My Name. Everything seems to be falling into place for this half of the Clipse, who will finally release his debut on July 16. I’m ready, I’m looking forward to it, and I can’t wait to hear the next single. Sorry for getting too personal.

Update: Pusha revealed the title of his sophomore album, which he’s calling King Push, in an interview with Ask Men. He also said that it probably won’t have any features. K.
