DJ Premier and Royce Da 5’9″ Reveal ‘PRhyme’ Artwork, Track List and Release Date

prhyme-artwork

Another day, another batch of goodness from DJ Premier and Royce Da 5’9″, who are putting out an album together under the name of PRhyme. We now know when the record drops (Dec. 9) in addition to the full track list (holy hell, “Underground Kings” looks awesome) and artwork (look up, y’all). This all arrives after we heard two cuts off PRhyme yesterday in “Courtesy” and the title track. And I hate to be a turd here, but it’s somewhat-disappointing to know we’ve already heard two of the nine tracks on the project. That being said, I’m pretty damn happy to see that this isn’t some 19-track monster of an album. This should ensure that we’re getting that raw boom-bap with absolutely no filler, because how in the hell could there be filler on such a brief effort?

Peep the track list below and pre-order the album here.

Track list:

  1. PRhyme
  2. Dat Sound Good (Feat. Ab-Soul, Mac Miller)
  3. U Looz
  4. You Should Know (Feat. Dwele)
  5. Courtesy
  6. Wishin’ (Feat. Common)
  7. To Me, To You (Feat. Jay Electronica)
  8. Underground Kings (Feat. Schoolboy Q, Killer Mike)
  9. Microphone Preem (Feat. Slaughterhouse)

Oh, stop complaining. You know damn well 9 tracks is the perfect length for an album like this lol. Damn rap fans are never happy about any-goddamn-thing smh
