For all the wrong reasons, I have learned to loathe what the music of Pretty Lights stands for–college bros at keggers doing whatever bros like to do. I don’t hold it against him, though, that is where the money is at after all. Beyond that initial layer of nonsense, he is indeed a talented electronic musician. For his latest trick, he pulls out the funky rhythms and echoing vocal samples to craft one of his most beautiful hip-hop driven pieces to date. Along with the single we also catch wind of accompanying visuals, which feature locations like Detroit, Warsaw, Oslo, NYC, Vancouver, London, Paris, Prague, and more. [via]
