Napoleon LV – “Triumphant”

napoleon-lv-triumphantNapoleon LV is an artist out of Raleigh, N.C. who definitely sounds like he has something going for him on new single “Triumphant”. It’s a fitting title for the track, which is the sonic embodiment of triumph. The dude’s verses are passionate and sound like he’s going to explode if he’s not careful. Seriously, his bars are that filled with emotion and tenacity, and it makes listening to him more than just another case of “Oh here’s a guy who gassing himself up a bit.”

I mean, given the fact he’s not really that well-known makes the whole triumph thing seem a little questionable, but why can’t he feel that way? Who knows what might have transpired that could have lit this fire under him and attack the instrumental in such a fashion. Anyway, this is admittedly a bit rough, but it’s definitely a solid start for our introduction to Napoleon, who faired better than some of his elders in this post. Jus’ sayin’. —Andrew Martin

    Thank you!!!

  2. These series of posts are great! As a long time reader, I feel like it reflects why this site became one of the two or three music blogs that I follow on a regular basis and the only one I read on a daily basis. Same goes for the monthly “artists/producers you should know” series you guys started doing a few months back
