Here at Potholes, dedication is rewarded. NYC-based artist Vulkan the Krusader has graced the pages of our website for just over a year now, and he has never stopped pushing the boundaries that stop other creators cold. Tomorrow marks a celebration of love for millions, but Valentine’s Day will also bring the release of Vulkan’s labored-over project, VX-13 : Do You Remember Love. The mixtape – which contains a wide array of sonic structures and thoughtful couplets – is set to be premiered by the good folks over at Earmilk.
In preparation for his long-awaited drop, the diversely skilled artist has unveiled one last single in “Do You Remember Love”, a downtempo rap track that spins a somber urgency into a crooning plea for certain figures (and, indirectly, us listeners) to recall a time of love and appreciation.
“At Josh’s crib rappin’ with Rocky on the phone / Couple weeks later sleeping on a bench, in the cold”
Emotional and honest, Vulkan holds nothing back. Stream our exclusive premiere of “Do You Remember Love” below, and be sure to download the full project tomorrow.
