Potholes Podcast (Keep Shelly In Athens)

Greece isn’t the first place I think of when it comes to indie music, but buzzing duo Keep Shelly In Athens have something to say about that. Slowly making their way onto the scene just over a year ago, they have managed to swipe a ton of eager fans on their journey towards internet stardom. With their recently announced Our Own Dreams EP being released at some point this fall, as well as their first North American tour only weeks away, we thought it was the perfect time to get a better understanding of these mysterious musicians. Taking the time out of their busy schedules, Keep Shelly In Athens sat down and mixed a fabulous set of 13 songs. The mix includes some Potholes favorites like Moths, Gold Panda and Toro Y Moi, as well some artists I have never heard of like Ï-Ziq. Whether you have heard of the tracks or not, this is some beautiful music. Stay tuned for more from Keep Shelly In Athens, especially as they touch down in the United States Nov. 5!

Shame on you for not knowing of μ-Ziq aka Mike Paradinas aka founder of Planet Mu aka a whole lot of other things.

Props to KSIA for everything. As a fellow greek I certainly enjoy both their music and their course so far. Best of luck to their North American tour, I can’t wait to watch them on the 22nd of October over here in Athens.
