At the beginning of the year, we threw together a list of musical acts we think y’all should be keeping an eye on in 2013. One of those was young Midwestern rapper-producer Chester Watson who wowed us with his Phantom mixtape and ensuing single releases. And on Thursday, he’s looking to show off his beat-making talents with Guru Vol. 2, a 10-track instrumental tape. To get us prepared for that project and provide a glimpse into Chester’s creative process and influences, he’s put together the latest Potholes Podcast.
