One of the vehicles that declares an indie has “made it,” is when they are invited to perform at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. Today we get our first glimpse at the festival’s lineup, which boasts a a ton of powerhouse players. Among the list, we have Vampire Weekend, Hot Chip, AraabMuzik, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, Cloud Nothings, Grimes and Willis Earl Beal. There are over 30 more acts still to be announces, but it is looking pretty juicy already. The festival will take place July 13-15, and tickets will go on sale March 9 at the Pitchfork website.
