Phonte – “Blessings” p. Khrysis!

The story behind this never-before-heard Phonte joint is that it was intended for his early 2000s solo album, Tigallo Must Die. But he “aborted” the project and instead focused on other ventures, such as his work with Little Brother and the Foreign Exchange. Phonte apparently kept some of the tracks around, though, as we now have the Khrysis-produced “Blessings”. If nothing else, this is a huge tease for those of us wanting to hear a proper solo debut from Tigallo, though I’m hopeful we will hear it by the end of this year. Please?
